Mary was known for being a hard and loyal worker. Down through the years she was gainfully employed at various jobs. Her passion was working with preschool children. She spent the end of her long career with EOPA where she started out as a teacher assistant. During her time with EOPA she scaled the social ladder through earning her Associates Degree in Early-Childhood Education and was promoted to Lead Teacher. One of her favorite songs that she would sing is “In the Morning He is Real, Jesus is Real to Me.” Mary had a passion for helping others. As a result of her generous spirit, patience, pleasant personality and her love for others. She also had a great sense of humor, she could light up a room with her smile and laughter from cracking some serious jokes. Mary- who was known to us as Mae-Mae enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and fishing with her late husband. After her husband passed, her family felt it was necessary to get their mother another companion.
