Karen was able to "accept the things that she couldn't change, and gain the courage to change the things that she could," on her long road to recovery, thanks to her sponsor.... One of her favorite bible verses was Matthew 21:21, "If you have faith and do not doubt, you can move mountains. And if you believe, you will receive what you ask for in prayer." This verse guided her life and helped her overcome many obstacles. Karen's life was devoted to sharing and helping others which is why she was well known in the city of Toledo.
