<p>Ki-Ann La’Quita Gaiter was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 14, 1992, to Tammy Thomas and Glen Gaiter. Ki-Ann grew up a shy, quiet girl who soon grew into a beautiful woman. She had a loving spirit and always showed love; Ki-Ann had a heart of gold that touched all of her family and friends and anyone that knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>Once Ki-Ann became a mother she blossomed even more. Leachim truly was her heart. Ki-Ann would give the shirt off her back to help those who she loved. This led her to do work as a Nursing Assistant and a Home Health Aid for many years. Helping was just in her blood.</p><p><br></p><p>Following her home going, Ki-Ann was surrounded by many friends and family. She was greeted at the heavenly gates by her daughter, Leahmiah Yates; her grandmothers, Joanne Slaughter and Marion Gaiter. </p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Tammy Thomas; father, Glen Gaiter; husband, Michael Yates; son, Leachim Yates; step-sons, Michael Jr., My’Ionn, MyQuise; sisters, Renita Gaiter-Burton, Tiffany Gaiter, Tiarra Mays; brother-in-law, Wesley Burton; nephews, Tenaje Gaiter, Brycen Kelly; nieces, Brenaye Gaiter, Amir'Onna McGlown, Garionna Mays, Azari Gaston, Kazzmir Burton; great-niece, Te’Nyla Gaiter; uncles, Anthony Thomas, Fredrick Thomas, Mark Overton, Shawn Gaiter, and Mark Gaiter; aunts, Katherine Thomas, Dionne James, Angela Overton; great-aunt, Dorothy Thomas; favorite cousins, Antionne Overton Jr., Anthony Jones, Kendra Hill, and Ki’Asha Thomas; God-brothers, Martiese Smith, Maurice Smith Jr., and Mario Love Jr.; bestfriends, Johnell O., Markita J., Diamond B., and a host of other dear friends, special sisters and brothers.
