<p>Janie Scott, 66 transitioned from this earthly life into the loving arms of God on Tuesday May 25, 2021. She was born February 5, 1955 in Hereford, Texas. As a teenager she moved to Toledo, Ohio</p><p> with her mother and siblings. Janie met and married the love of her life, Roy Scott, Jr in 1971. To this union, 3 sons were born Royce, Troy and Leroy. Janie worked at Libbey Glass until her retirement. She was the matriarch of the family</p><p><br></p><p>If you know Janie, she loved and cherished spending time with her family. Her most favorite time was when the house was full of family playing Mexican bingo. She never met a stranger and would help anyone who needed it. Her spirit was fiery and would tell you if you were right or wrong, she would always voice her opinion, and was never the quiet one. </p><p><br></p><p>Some of Janie’s favorite pastimes were playing B-I-N-G-O and studying the Bible where she found peace in the word. She would often fall asleep listening to the audio Bible.</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish her memories, Sons, Royce Scott (Kelly) Greensboro, NC; Troy Scott (Leonita), Toledo, OH, Leroy Scott (Maya) Toledo, OH; Grandsons, Dallas Scott, Troy Jr., Alexander Scott, Daylan Scott, Andrew Scott and Brandon Scott. Granddaughters, Jasmine Scott, Olivia and Miracle; Great Granddaughters, Kayley and Payton; Brother, Jerri Palacio; Sisters, Rosalinda (Earl) Cox, Antonio (Keith) Walker, Brenda (Sherard) Ramsey, Lisa Thorn and Jerry Lisa Palacio; Brothers, Jerry Palacio and a host of other loving friends and family. Janie was preceded in death by her husband Roy Scott, Jr.; Father, Juan Palacio; Mother, Matilda Ybarra; Brothers, Julio Perez, Juan Palacio Jr, Robert Palacio and Joe Palacio; and Sister, Sylvia Palacio.</p>
