Henry Hood
<p>Henry Hood Sr. passed away in his home on Monday May 17, 2021. Henry was born June 7,1931 to parents George Hood and Emma Wright-Hood. Henry attended Toledo Public Schools. He worked on railroads, a foundry, and he retired from GM Powertrain Toledo Transmission Plant with 25.9 years of service. In his spare time, he had a love for lottery, gatherings, flashy attire, and an admiration for cars.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his children Denise Martin, Kenneth Johnson, Cedrick Hood, Katrina Hood-Mitchell, and brother William Hood, stepdaughters Barbara Myers, Harriet Moye, and Drucilla Johnson and 40+ grandchildren and 15+ great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews and good friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Henry is preceded in death by his parents George Hood, Emma Wright-Hood, siblings Ethel Mosley, Betty Harris, Robert Hood, Cleveland Hood, Joe Lewis Hood, stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Johnson, Brenda Johnson, son Wilbert Bell, Henry Hood, Jr. and granddaughter Latonya Johnson, and prior wife Henrine Hood.</p>May 17, 202105/17/2021
