He went home to be with his Lord on April 28, 2021 at the age of 29.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his grandmother Regina M. Slay, grandfather John H. Slay and cousin John Slay.</p><p><br></p><p>Scotty was a very loving person. He had one "1" of the brightest smiles that matched perfectly with his one of a kind heart. Scotty was a very loving person, who had the kindest heart ever and definitely was the life of the party. He was a special son, brother, uncle, and soon to be father. If you were ever in need of a laugh without a doubt he was the person to go to.</p><p><br></p><p>Scotty leaves to cherish his honorable memories, mother; Lydia Slay, father Scotty Taylor, his unborn son, Scotty Slay, Jr., sisters; Regina Slay, Shamika Taylor, Shamari Taylor, and Shamya Taylor, brothers; William Edwards, Anthony Brown, Raymone Taylor, nieces; Emarieah Jones, Kei'Moni Overton and TraMyre Moreland, nephews; Mark Overton III and Kahlil Edwards and special friend Leslye Griffin along with a host of family and friends</p>
