<p>Gloria Dean Harris, born Gloria Dean Holmes was born August 29, 1956 and departed this world on May 7, 2021 at Toledo Hospital. She was born to Lillie V. and TJ Holmes in Leland, Mississippi.</p><p><br></p><p>Gloria graduated from Joliet Central High School in Joliet, Illinois. She also attended Barber College in Toledo, Ohio.</p><p><br></p><p>Gloria loved playing Bingo, cards and softball. She also loved to feed the kids in the neighborhood community center for the Greenbelt Apartments.</p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her husband, Aldo Ray Harris; father, T.J. Holmes; sister, Lena Lewis; and granddaughter, Daisy Dotson. </p><p><br></p><p>Gloria leaves behind four children, Joseph Holmes, Torrie Holmes, Kenya Holmes, Lahkesha Holmes; three sisters, Delois Lewis, Annette (Samuel) McNeal and Jeannette Holmes; three brothers, Charles Lewis, Leo Holmes and Bennette (Kim) Holmes.</p>May 7, 202105/07/2021
