Mackenzie Lynn Ham, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend; a genuinely kindhearted and loving soul, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 5th at 41 years old. Mackenzie was brought into the world the first day of October, 1979, to Carolyn Evette Ham and Mack King Burton. Mackenzie grew up on West Delaware on the west side of Toledo. She attended St. Hyacinth, McKinley, and Start High School.

Mackenzie had three daughters whom she loved and devoted her life to; Emoni, Anyashrae, and Kensleigh. Mackenzie had a dutiful and helpful spirit when it involved the well-being of her family, especially her mother and her grandparents. There wasn't anything anyone could ask of her that would go undone. Mackenzie worked many jobs in her lifetime, never minimizing herself to just one skill. She enjoyed creating fond memories with her youngest daughter Kensleigh and granddaughter, Ryleigh, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and listening to music. She will forever be remembered for her warm embrace, her need to help others, her funny and carefree personality, and her ability to turn any sad situation into one full of hope and positivity.

Left to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters, mother; Carolyn Ham, stepfather; Steve Mays, sisters; Tanya Holmes and Shauntae Banks, stepbrothers; Eric and Ramus Mays, Jarell Fisher, and Antwan Jenkins, her one and only granddaughter Ryleigh Williams, and special aunt Antoinetta Ezell. She is preceded in death by her father; Mack Burton, maternal grandparents; Cravin and Fannie Ham, fraternal grandparents; Nathaniel Ezell Sr. and Mary Burton, uncles; Nathaniel, Tommy, and Morris, and aunts; Saundra and Laura-Lee.
