Donald Ray Pope
<p>Donald “Don Don” Pope was born on January 24, 1965. Donald passed away peacefully in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at the age of 56. He is preceded in death by his parents Helen Pope and Donald Thomas, brother Duane Pope and special friend Nathaniel Harrell. Donald graduated in 1983 from Scott high school. During his time with the Scott bulldogs he was a star athlete playing basketball during 1982-1983. He will always be remembered for his athletic abilities. Donald had unconditional love for his friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with his special daughter, Tiangela Overton and her children. Donald also enjoyed gathering with other family and friends to play cards. He enjoyed listening to music, 'bending corners' as he would say, and hanging with his older brother Keith Pope. </p><p><br></p><p>Donald leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, De’Atra Pope, Tiangela Overton, Shaney Cunningham; son, DaJuan Freelove; grandchildren, William Hayes Jr., Re’Maero Moreland and Princess Uri; sisters, Tina Pope, Tyrene (Michael) Mccroskey; brothers, Keith (Deborah) Pope, Mark (Marisela) Russell; Special birthday niece, Bri’Annah Pope; great nephew, Angelo Snow Jr..He will be missed for all who loved and knew him. He also leaves to mourn his passing his uncle Ronald Dunson, aunt Barbra Moore, special friend Allan Chapman and a host of other friends and relatives. </p><p><br></p><p>The family of Donald Pope acknowledges with sincere thanks to everyone for the support, prayers, donations, and acts of kindness shown during this time of bereavement.</p>April 14, 202104/14/2021
