George Edward Love
<p>George Edward Love, 64, of Toledo, OH. passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2021 at St. Vincent Medical Center after a difficult battle with cancer. He was born on March 20th, 1957 to Woodrow W. Love and Georgia V. Boose Love in Toledo, Ohio.</p><p><br></p><p>He attended Toledo Public Schools: Walbridge Elementary School and Libbey High School. George loved all sports and excelled in everyone of them that he participated in. Basketball was one of his favorite sports, however, he was an avid swimmer, skater and fisherman. He loved to play cards and could dance you off the floor! George was a free-spirited person, possessing the gift of drawing people in and making them laugh. Humor, laughter, and that big smile of his were his trademarks.</p><p><br></p><p>George was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow W. Love, mother, Georgia V. Boose Love; sisters, Mary A. Goston (Molly) and Gertrude Perkins; brothers, Richard L. Love, Roosevelt T. Love and Alvin Love, Sr. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving family consisting of nieces and nephews, Verleasa Files, Rick Love (Greta), Holly Love, Regina Love, Angela Love, Anthony Love, Angela Love-Hall (Larry), Alvin Love, Jr. and Darrell Perkins and a host of other great nieces and great nephews, relatives, and friends.</p>April 9, 202104/09/2021
