Ms. Verna Denise (Niecy) Pressley passed away on April 7, 2021 at St Vincent Hospital in the presence of her loving family and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as her witnesses.

Niecy was born in Toledo, Ohio to Calvin "Coolidge" Thomas and Hazel Adams on October 27, 1956. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons; Kevin Adams and Anthony Pressley, her grandmother; Althea Martin and along with other brothers and sisters.

Ms. Niecy accepted Jesus Christ at a early age and attended John E. Gunckle, Libbey High School and Stautzenberger College.

She led a job at Plaza Care for 15 years as a housekeeper/Laundry Aide. She also worked as a Crossing Guard for Toledo Public Schools for 2 years and held various other positions. Ms. Niecy was a faithful and prayerful woman. She always spoke about Jesus Christ and His mercy. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Loved to help others and keep people encouraged. Ms. Niecy Loved to watch the Hallmark shows and movies.

Ms. Niecy leaves to cherish her memory her former spouse; Willy Pressley-Smith, Children; Willie Pressley Jr., Sean Pressley, Tisha Pressley, Sherhonda (Louis) Pressley-Davis and Tivon Pressley, brothers; Philip and Jeff Brown and Donald Pratt, sister; Taharah Abdulrahman, grandchildren; Antonae, Tae-Kwon, Shon'Quisha, Ijanae Pressley Terrill, Taaliyah, Anthony Jamison, Louis III and Kevin Davis, Sherry Foreman, two great grandchildren, Loving Christian friends; Jeanette Harris and Debbie Johnson and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
