<p>Karen Allison-Hunt was born September 5,1953 in Toledo, OH. She passed from this life after a long illness on April 8, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was preceded in death by natural mother Katherine Allison; grandparents Lucious Sr. and Ollie Allison; Aunt Erma Walker; uncles Lucious Jr. and Leon Allison, nephew Omar Allison, and special friend Joyce Coogler.</p><p><br></p><p>Karen received Christ at an early age and attended St. Paul AME Zion Church with her uncle Lucious. </p><p>She attended Toledo Public Schools and graduated from Libbey High School, and later attended Beauty school in Atlanta, GA., and Toledo Cosmetology School. She also worked in retail and as a receptionist and cashier at Medical College of Ohio (MCO).</p><p><br></p><p>Karen enjoyed cooking, shopping, home decorating, doing hair and nails, and spending time with her family. She loved to listen to music, especially her favorite singer Anita Baker. She was a meticulous and well-mannered person and stressed these good habits to her beloved son. </p><p><br></p><p>Karen leaves to cherish her unconditional love to her son Corey Allison Sr., grandsons Corey Jr. and Ky’re Allison, great-granddaughter Malonie Allison, mother Betty Brown, brother Tyrone (Patricia) Allison, beloved niece Trina Walker, and friend Jackie Smoot. </p><p><br></p><p>She also leaves her memory with her loving nieces and nephews Tyrone (Linda) Allison, Lisa (Winston) Ellis, Evelyn, Josh, Jessica and Karmen Allison and a host of relatives and friends.</p>
