Mary Alice Pattin, affectionately known as "MaMa Mary" born November 28, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio departed this life March 16, 2021, BLESSING us with 77 years of her excellence. She was born to the union of the late Willie Lee and Nina Mae Pattin. She attended Scott High School. She loved and accepted the Lord as her savior and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

Mary Alice literally built a career of being a Community Mom; which included

her children, grandchildren, great-grands, great-great-grands, as well as her children's friends and significant others. Coining the phrase "If you like'em; I love'em!"

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers, Roy and Henry Lee Pattin; and her loving husband and friend, Johnny Lee Shavers, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her only sister, Delores Smith; brothers, Louis, Robert, Leslie, Ronald, Michael, Anthony, and Julius Pattin; 7 Children; Joyce Pattin, Carlos (Angel) Pattin, Eva (Kenneth) Wood, Cynthia (James) Bolden, Jonathan Pattin-Shavers, Ja Linda Pattin-White, and Monica Pattin; 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Services: Saturday, March 27, 2021. The Visitation "WALK-THRU" between 3:00-4:00pm; The Live Stream Family Service will be from 4:00-5:00pm at The House of Day Funeral Home. The repast entry will begin at 4:00pm at the Friendly Center located at 1324 N. Superior Street, Toledo, OH 43604.
