Elliott Eugene Franklin

<p>Elliott Eugene Franklin, went home to Jesus on, February 12, 2021, at the age of 71. Elliott was born on October 30, 1949, to Grover and Eleanor (Sharp) Franklin, Sr., in Toledo, Ohio.</p><p><br></p><p>After graduatin from Libbey High School in 1968, he became gainfully employed with Champion Spark Plugs, which was eventually purchased by Cooper Tire. Elliott was sent to Londo, England to represent Cooper Tire, based on his expertise in spark plug manufacturing in the the Engineering department.</p><p><br></p><p>Elliott was an advid sports fanatic. He was an excellent tennis player and belonged to the Ottawa Park Tennis Association. Elliott enjoyed barbequing and was considered to be a "grill master" along with playing cards, Bid Whiz, known as The "L Dawg", with his daughter, Janee and goddaughter, Tanya, on many occassions. Elliott hosted the most unique, and unforgettable parties. Elliott spent great memories with long time friends, Red Beasely, Floyd Ambercromi, Sr., Fred Stanford, Jimmy Brown, Leon Bennett and Tyson. Elliott's favorite past time was fishing.</p><p><br></p><p>Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Eleanor Franklin, Sr., Grover Franklin, Jr., Charles "Chuckie" and George Franklin.</p><p><br></p><p>He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Janee Matthews; sisters, Sandra (Roy) Holloway and Cynthia Franklin; brother, Dean Franklin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</p>
