Sandra Leigh Brent
<p>Sandra L. Brent, age 72, gained her wings on February 10, 2021, at the Continuing Health Care Center in Toledo, Ohio. "Big Sandy", as she was affectionately called by family members, was born to Helen and Ernest Brent in Mansfield, Ohio. As a child growing up, she attended Mansfield Public Schools and graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1967.</p><p><br></p><p>She was employed at Richland County Court House as a clerk for many years. Sandy loved to go skating, crochet sweaters, hats, and blankets, and oh, how she loved to sew! She could take a sewing pattern, cut it out and sew it by hand to completion with no problem. She had a strong personality for taking care of herself, but was always concerned about her family. </p><p><br></p><p>Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Brent; father, Ernest Brent; sister, Christine Brent; brother, Carl Brent; great grandmother, Bonita Brunson; grandmother, Juanita Mae Poindexter-Martin; and great aunt, Alice Woodberry.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by two sisters, JoAnn Brent, of Mansfield, Ohio, Beverly (Lee) Sims, of Irving, Texas; brother, Johnny Brent, of Columbus, Ohio; two aunts, Elder Patricia Martin-Brazzel, Norma Martin-Parker; uncle, Cleophus (Rita) Staples, all of Toledo, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Services are private</p>February 10, 202102/10/2021
