<p>Carole Michelle Horn, née Hayes, age 49, of Toledo,</p><p>passed away on January 7, 2021 at Promedica Ebeid</p><p>Hospice Residence. Carole was born on April 18, 1971 to</p><p>James and Tonie Hayes. She graduated from DeVilbiss</p><p>High School in 1989. Shortly after graduation, she began</p><p>working at the Toledo Blade and continued her career</p><p>there for over 30 years.</p><p>She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah on April 11,</p><p>1987 and was a member of the West English</p><p>congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Although she</p><p>struggled with her faith at times, she was proud to have</p><p>committed the past two and a half years to renewing</p><p>and strengthening her relationship with God. She</p><p>enjoyed spending time with her family and was a</p><p>devoted grandmother. Nothing made her happier than</p><p>caring and sacrificing for her grandchildren and they</p><p>were a bright spot in her life.</p><p>Carole was preceded in death by her mother, Tonie.</p><p>She is survived and will be dearly missed by her son</p><p>Kenton Anderson, daughter Kelsey Saunders;</p><p>grandchildren Kennadi Anderson, Kaidence Anderson,</p><p>Malachi Anderson, Joule Saunders, and Legacy; father</p><p>James Hayes; sister Candace Sims, aunt LaBrenda</p><p>(Walter Sr.) Holston, uncles Larry Jones and David</p><p>(Pearl) Clark; nephew Timothy Sims; and a host of other</p><p>family and close friends.</p>

Obituary

Carole Michelle Horn, née Hayes, age 49, of Toledo,

passed away on January 7, 2021 at Promedica Ebeid

Hospice Residence. Carole was born on April 18, 1971 to

James and Tonie Hayes. She graduated from DeVilbiss

High School in 1989. Shortly after graduation, she began

working at the Toledo Blade and continued her career

there for over 30 years.

She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah on April 11,

1987 and was a member of the West English

congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Although she
