Malachi Lavelle Michael Barnes Obituary

Malachi La'Velle Barnes was born December 20, 2014 to his lovely parents, Christian Nicole Hair and Anthony A. Barnes at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH. Malachi was full of life and laughter. He enjoyed playing with his siblings and family. He enjoyed his toys and watching cartoons on the CBS Learning Channel. Malachi loved toy cars and trucks. His favorite color was orange.

Malachi was in his first year of Head Start at Spring Middle School, where he enjoyed playing, learning and being social. When he grew up, Malachi desired to be a doctor, to work in the medical field like his mom. Malachi enjoyed watching and playing basketball. Many thought that he could make it to the NBA.

Malachi went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2018, Thanksgiving Day. Although justice will be served; we will continue to celebrate Malachi's legacy.

He leaves to cherish his mom, Christian Hair; dad, Anthony Barnes; his siblings, big brother, Kyjuan Knolly, big sister, Tonjae Barnes, big brother, JaVon Brown, big sister, Aubrey Barnes, big sister, TaMyra Hair, little brothers, Khamrin Barnes, Mykael Johnson, Ezekiel R. Barnes, and Anthony Barnes Jr., little sister, Taniah Hair-Barnes; grandparents, Dianna Foster, George Hair Jr. (Lynette), William Barnes (Lula) and Cassandra Howard Berry and Leon Berry; great grandmother, Essie Foster and Annabell Carter, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.
