Mildred Rowe

Mrs. Mildred Rowe Braswell (affectionately known as Neicy Mama) departed this life on October 25, 2016 at the age of 98. Mildred was a faithful Member of Turner Chapel AME Church, Marietta, GA. Prior to moving to Georgia, Mildred resided in Toledo, Ohio where she was a member of St. Paul AME Zion Church. She was preceded in death by both parents; daughter, Dorothy Mae Woodard; son, Calvin Braswell; sisters, Sophia and Cornelia, and brothers, Henderson, James, Hoyt, John and Julius.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Milton, Paul, and Donald (Annie); daughters, Ernestine Carter, Evelyn, Barbara Jean, and Karen Braswell; grandson who she raised as her own, Edward Moore (Pamela); 57 grandchildren and numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Memorial service for Mildred will be held at the House of Day Funeral Home, 2550 Nebraska Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43607 on Saturday, November 12, 2016, 5-7 p.m.
