<p>Service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 am, proceeded by a wake at 10:00 am at United Community Church. Cassandra Peterson Mays Allison, was born on March 30, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, tothe union of Nathaniel and Lula Mae Milton Peterson, she was the only girl born to her parents. God called her home to eternal rest on Thursday, May 12, 2016, in the care of Hospice. She worked at Point Place for 20 years as a CNA, until her health got the best of her. Cassandra was loved and respected by everyone she came in contact with. Mrs. Allison was married for 36 years to Willie, and he stood by her side until the Lord called her home. Cassandra was preceded in death by both of her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Willie Allison; children, Shonna (Norman), Teresa, Billy, Cassandra, Todd (Rakiia), of North Carolina, Allen and Steph, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., preceded by a 10:00 a.m. Wake at United Community Church, 1301 Broadway St. Services handled by the House of Day Funeral Service</p>May 12, 201605/12/2016
