Services are 11:00 am Saturday, March 26, 2016 preceded by wake services at 10:00 am at United Community Church. Devone Harris, also known as “Von”, passed away on Monday March 7, 2016 at the age of 32.. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to LaShawn Peterson and Lawrence Harris St. His family moved to Toledo, Ohio during his childhood, where he resided the remainder of his life. Devone was a devoted man, son, father, and friend. He enjoyed laughing, joking, swimming, gambling, movies, and living life. Devone was preceded in death by step father Johnny May Sr., Uncle Robert Peterson, and grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters ; Vonaija and Lexxiya Harris; son; Jalein Flores; Special Partner, Alexis Arriaga; Mother, LaShawn May; Step father , Jerry Hughes Sr.; Father, Lawrence Harris Sr; Sisters Paris May, Amy Harris, and Doneisha Fizer; Brothers, Johnathan May, Johnny May Jr., Cortney Harris, Deonta Harris, and Lawrence Harris Jr; Special Friends, Demetrius Spearman, Ernest Martin, Leland Pickens, Jimmy King Sr., Travis Brown, Marcus Brown, Marven Nesbitt, Maurice Jamison, and Mario Helm; Special Aunts, Brenda May, LaDawn Peterson, and Melissa Gary, and a large host of other special family and friends. Von will be greatly missed by all.
