<p>To view the livestream of the funeral service, which will be available 30 minutes before the service is scheduled to begin, please click the link below:</p><p><br></p><p>https://boxcast.tv/view/ronald-jacobson-funeral-service-ka2s3sb5y4vi0cmvne7x</p><p><br></p><p>Ronald Jacobson, age 84, of Omaha, NE, passed away November 19, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Ron is survived by daughters Ronda Bourg (Jeff) of Omaha, NE, and Brenda Tacke (Bob) of Council Bluffs, IA; son Barry Spooner of Winter Springs, FL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Barb Gillespie(Ron) of Omaha, NE; many nieces and nephews, along with many great friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Ron is preceded in death by wife Sharon and parents Norman and Alice Jacobson. </p><p><br></p><p>Ron served in the US Navy (1957-1961). He was stationed on an aircraft carrier called the USS Wasp, where he served as an Aviation Machinist mate Third Class (Tower Operator). He received a Good Conduct Medal.</p><p><br></p><p>After the Navy, Ron went to work for MUD, where he worked as a field engineer. He retired after 38 years in 1998. He was a wonderful and funny guy who will be missed by everyone who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>The family invites you to join them for a luncheon from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm following the funeral service at the VFW at 8904 Military Rd, Omaha, NE.</p><p><br></p>October 24, 1938 - November 19, 202210/24/193811/19/2022
