Services are 1:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 preceded by wake at 12:00 noon at Light Hope Church, 1235 Division, Toledo, OH.Alvin Robinson Sr., 61, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at UTMC. He recently recommitted his life to the Lord and joined Lighthouse Church and was a member of the choir. He served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1977. His passion was mechanical engineering. He could tear apart anything and put it back together better then in its original state. He was preceded in death by both parents, Smiley and Lillian Robinson, and his son, Jason Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Alvin (Gail) Robinson Jr., Kimberly (James) Robinson-Cole, Joshua (Tina) Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Tanesha (Terrell) Williams, Alicia Robinson, and Nicholas Robinson; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Tarver and Betty Robinson; brother, Orvil (Barbara) Robinson and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 1 p.m., preceded by wake services at 12 noon at Lighthouse Church, 1235 Division Street, Pastor Robert Cunningham Jr., Officiant. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
