Sunrise....January 6, 1945 Sunset....January 2, 2015. It is with deep sorrow we mourn the passing of this beloved, kind, and gentle soul. He was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica where he worked as a detective and body guard for the Prime Minister of Jamaica. Meridith lived his life to the fullest, he was hard working and brought laughter and love to anyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Terri; children, Marcia, Sharon, Maxine, Karen, Meridith Jr.; grandchildren, Shanique, Amanda, Ashley, Kayla, Destiny, Mikel; great-grandchildren, Devon, Diana; brothers, Aldred and Rovelle; as well as many relatives in Jamaica, Canada and England. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Vera Ricketts and his brother, Carlton. Funeral services will be conducted at the Parkwood Seventh Day Adventist Church, 220 Parkwood Ave., on Friday, January 16. The wake and Masonic rites will begin at 11 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 12 noon. Meridith's presence will be sadly missed. R.I.P.
