Service will be held on Friday, August 22nd at Mt. Pilgrim. Wake at 10:00am, service at 11:00am. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the House of Day Chapel. Deacon Felton Hunter Jr. was born on January 27, 1930 in Talladega, Alabama to Rosa and Felton Hunter Sr. He met and fell in love with his wife Iness Jenkins and they were united in marriage on January 5,1947 to this union five children were born. On August 13, 2014 he quietly went home to be with his Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ, in his home at the age of 84. Felton was preceded in death by parents Rosa Austin and Felton Hunter Sr, sisters Rosie Jackson and Georgia Boyd and brother Cal Staples. Felton leaves to cherish his memory loving and devoted wife of 67 years Iness Jenkins. Daughters Shirley (Julius) Akins, Inez (Robert) Bowman, and Emma Hunter all of Toledo, Ohio. Sons Willie and Harvell (Leslie) Hunter of Toledo, Ohio. Granddaughters Nichelle Chiles, Tiffany (Marcus) Handley, Jacqueline Hunter and Danielle Bowman all of Toledo Ohio. Grandsons Alonzo (Nicole) Maulsby of Toledo Ohio, Sean (Lori) Hunter of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Harvell Hunter II of Toledo, Ohio. Great-granddaughters Amada, Miracle, Alani and Alondra Maulsby all of Toledo, Ohio, Breelle Hunter of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Sydney Handley, Dalaysia, Deasia, and Aaliyah Hunter all of Toledo Ohio. Great grandsons Courion Williams, Nicholas Ramey, Deontae Hunter and Larry Mitchell Jr. of Toledo Ohio and Justice Hunter of Jacksonville, North Carolina.
