<p>Mrs. Linda Faye Sims was born on May 30, 1958 in Indianola, Mississippi to the union of Dorothy and J. B. Brown. She went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 30, 2014 in the University of Toledo Medical Center. Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by grandparents; father, J. B. Brown; twin brother, Larry; sister, Brenda; and husband, Glen Sims. Linda confessed in Christ at an early age and was a member of Cornerstone Church. Linda served in the nursing field for over 10 years and was a certified medical office assistant and business owner. She loved going to church and being with her family. She loved fashion, beauty and most of all “cleanliness”, which is next to Godliness. Linda also sung in a choir group as a child in Mississippi. Her warm smile, great sense of humor and motivational speeches was a joy to all who knew and loved her. Linda leaves to cherish her memory to her loving children: Lashonda Brown, Latasha Sims and Frazier Derring; mother, Dorothy Brown; sisters, Peggy Jones, Rita Brown, Nancy Caston and Glenda Brown; brother, Jerry Gaston; grandchildren, Siemeion Sims, TraeShon Sims, Lashonte Conley, Diamond Smith, Terrianna Brown, Jamea Daniels, Michaeil Dula and Malachi Dula; 8 grandchildren ?; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend, Pam Lawler; and a host of other loving family members.</p>
