<p>Michael Ray Harris went to his Heavenly home on December 3, 2013 at UTMC Hospital. He was the son of the late Rev. Alonzo Harris and Mary Thompson Harris. He was born November 23, 1938 in Andalusia, Alabama. He worked for Hunt Wesson Foods as a forklift driver for 35 years. He attended Toledo Public Schools. He loved children as well as sports. A humble man, gentle and kind to all people, a man of few words, lots of wisdom and mercy. Great help to those in need. He excepted the Lord and gave his all in service to others. He was a resident of Fairview Nursing Home for a lengthy time. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by daughter: Crystal Dixon King (Alto King III), granddaughter: Sarai Ayanna King, brothers: Burnice (Shirley) Harris of Mobile, Alabama, Donald Harris of Vesteavia Hills, Alabama, Robert (Linda) Harris of Voorhees, New Jersey, Anthony, Robert, Theodore (Linda), Billy Harris all of Pensacola, Florida, sisters: Minnie Harris Bounds, Delores (Tyrone) Holloway, Connie Dotson, Claudia (Byron) Daniels all of Toledo, Pearlean (Eugene) Smith of Evergreen, Alabama, Lorene (Joe) Johnson of Pensacola, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, counsins and friends. Special uncle Edward (Irene) Thomspon, also his Fairview Nursing Home family and Staff.</p>
