PEARSON Nathaniel "Junior" Nathaniel "Junior" Pearson passed away very peacefully and quietly at his home on July 10, 2012. He was born June 28, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to parents Mattie Bell McGee Pearson and Nathaniel Pearson Sr. Nathaniel, affectionately known as "Nate", was a good husband, father, brother, grandfather, greatgrandfather, and uncle to his family. He will be sadly missed by the family. Nate was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Richard. Nate was a 1967 graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Nate retired from the Northwest Ohio County Correctional Center in Stryker, Ohio after 12 years and worked at Champion Spark Plug Co. until it relocated out of state. He leaves to cherish his memories wife of 35 years, Onetha Fields-Pearson; his only daughter, Natalee Pearson; stepson, Brian Fields; sister, Viletta Pearson; nieces, Cierra and Aleigha Pearson; greatnephew, Shaverl Pearson; granddaughters, Cassandra (Kaycee) and Victoria; grandson, Dallas Fields, and greatgranddaughter, Ja Net' Whitney. Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at The House of Day Funeral Home, wake services will start at 10:00 a.m.
