<p>Jerome Powell, 61, passed away May 24, 2012, peacefully in his home.</p><p><br></p><p> Jerome ran track at Devillbiss High School. He worked at Ohio Bell for many years.</p><p><br></p><p> He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Powell, Sr.</p><p><br></p><p> He is survived by his children, Doriane, Dawn and Jerome, Jr. Powell; mother, Doris Hartfield; siblings, Shirley, Fredrick, Caroline and Cassandra Powell; granddaughter, Ariel Ruffin, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special cousin and friend, Amos "Buster" Powell and special niece, Undria Powell.</p><p><br></p><p> Jerome enjoyed singing the old 60's and 70's Temptations music.</p><p><br></p><p> Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 4:00pm, at the House of Day Funeral Service.</p>May 24, 201205/24/2012
