<p>Betsey Zenobia Wilson, fondly called "Zee" departed this life on February 1, 2012. Betsey was born on April 5, 1924, in Charleston, South Carolina to Frank and Hattie Bynum. She was married to Leon H. Wilson, Sr. She worked at St. Vincent's Hospital retiring after 33 years of service. Betsey's many hobbies were knitting, sewing, crocheting, word search puzzles, and needle point. </p><p><br></p><p> Betsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers; three sisters, and granddaughter Andrea Byrd. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. </p><p><br></p><p> She is survived by her children, Ruth G. Cooper, Lorena Marie, Leon Jr., Cheryl Denise, Sonja Janise, and Gregory LaMarr (MeShell); grandchildren, Dontia Nykee, Richone LaMarr, Ri'chard JaMall, Giana LaTrice, Richera Janae, and Andre Leon-LaMarr; five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins, and friends. </p><p><br></p><p> Home going Celebration for Betsey will be held on February 7, 2012, at Mt. Pilgrim Church at 1401 Hoag with visitation hour from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Services to immediately follow. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Services provided by the House of Day Funeral Home.</p>
