Luerlean Ransey, 82, passed away, Thursday, August 17, 2011 in St.Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 10, 1929 to Odellar Hadley and Ollie Stevenson in Tupelo, MS. Surviving are her son Bishop James Ransey, daughters, Bertha Jackson, Ruby Cummings, , Pastor Teresa (Edward) Haynes, and Jenise (Harold) Lindsey, sisters,Geneva Whiteside, and Opal Henderson and 10 grandchidren.
