Bedford Talmadge Traynum

<p>Bedford Talmadge Traynum was born March 19, 1930 to the union of Talmadge and Alberta Traynum. He was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was preceded in death by both parents, stepmother, Willetta Jane Traynum, son, Timothy M. Traynum and brother, Roscoe Traynum, Sr.</p><p><br></p><p> Bedford was lovingly called “Tray, Talmadge &amp; Tootsie” by his family and friends. He was married for 52 years to his loving wife, Lela M. Woodard Traynum. To this union they were blessed to have two children Tara “Terry” Traynum-Randle and Timothy “Tim” Traynum. Bedford graduated from of Jesup W. Scott High School and completed 2 years at the University of Toledo. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Hyatt Allen Post #538. He retired from Jeep Chrysler Corporation in 1992. </p><p><br></p><p> Bedford loved caring for his grandchildren, Tiara, Nick and Riviara; and he loved to watch sports, especially the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.</p><p><br></p><p> Bedford leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories his wife, Lela; daughter, Tara Traynum-Randle; grandchildren: Tiara, Nick, Zaina, Riviara, Timothy, Kaleb, Timara, Justin &amp; Dwight; sister-in-law Martha (Raymond) Jones, Buffalo, NY; special friends, Kat Mitchell, Stevie Mays and Sheila Googins, beloved pet, “Poochie”; and a host of nieces, nephews of other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011, preceded by a 10:00am Wake at the House of Day Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the House of Day Funeral Service. Interment is at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.</p>
