TRUSS Leola Eloise Leola Eloise Truss, 91, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. Eloise was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1919 and later moved to Toledo in 1935. She was united in holy matrimony to Elmer Truss in 1940 and was married to him for 65 years until his death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Rev. Eugene J. Richardson and Velma Thomas Richardson; sisters, Eugenia Richardson, Margaret Richardson, Marie Warren, Altonel Griffith and brother, Thomas Richardson. Eloise was a beautician by trade. She was a former member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church for 40 years and served as church organist and choir director for 34 years. Surviving are sons, Reginald E. (Katsuko) and Mark (Regina); daughters, Jennifer and Vickie; grandsons, Reginald M., Elliott and Myles; granddaughter, Regina; great-grandsons, Sandy and Shane; great- granddaughters, Katarina and Kacie; brothers, Dr. Eugene Richardson (Helen) of Pennsylvania and William B. Richardson of New Jersey; sisters, Eunice Hodge of New Jersey, Sandra Johnson of Delaware, Rev. Sharon Richardson Smith of New Jersey and a host of extended family and friends. Services are private. Arrangements handled by the House of Day Funeral Service.
