Clarence Greely

<p>GREELY Clarence Clarence Greely was born October 14, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio and died Sunday, January 9, 2011, at University of Toledo/Medical University of Ohio Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He is survived by his mother, Plumer Mae Washington and father, Henry (Barbara) Greely of Toledo, OH. He is survived by eleven siblings, Geruthie Greely, Faye (Mark) Lyons, Theodore Greely, Kathleen Greely, Virginia Greely, Sharon Denise (LaVell) Matthews and Albert (Pam) Phillips, all of Toledo, OH, Patricia Greely (Orlando, FL), LaMarr Greely (San Francisco, CA), Kai Wilson, (New York, NY) and Rai (Nykia) Wilson (Chula Vista, CA). He is survived by six children, Njeri Greely and Tyari Washington (San Francisco, CA), John Greely, Angel Greely, Ronnie Perryman and Tiesha Pickens, all of Toledo, OH. He is survived by seven grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Clarence graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School where he played football. After graduation he entered the United States Marine Corp (honorable discharge) and served in Viet Nam. He retired from HydroMatic and later worked for the Lucas County Board of Elections, and The American Red Cross in Disaster Relief and Security. He is a member of Rockezell #79 AF &amp; AM. He was a past member of Golden Rule Lodge #29 and The Scott High School Booster Club and Volunteered at Pickett Academy where his grandchildren went to school. He was a member of St. Marks Baptist Church. Thank you to Rev. I.J. Johnson, Rev. C. L. Johnson and the entire St. Mark Church family for their support. Thank you to Dr. William Olorunto and the staff of the 2nd floor surgical ICU of University of Toledo, Medical University of Ohio for their professional and compassionate care.
