LOTT Eleanor "Pie" Eleanor "Pie" Lott, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011, at St. Anne's Hospital at the age of 73. Eleanor was born August 11, 1937, in Jackson, MS, to the union of Phelbert Wicks and Katherine Nunnley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lott, Sr.; one son, Earl Manley, Jr.; step-son, Theodore Lott, Sr.; son in law, Saul "Tony" Pettaway. Eleanor accepted Christ at an early age and attended Holy Ghost Catholic School and Church until moving to Toledo, OH in 1952. She was a 1954 graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School and a 1968 Graduate of St. Vincent Hospital's Surgical Technician program. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital from 1968 until her retirement in 1998 and was an active member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Eleanor leaves behind to cherish her memories daughter Velarie Wicks-Pettaway; son, Robert (Lucretia) Lott, Jr.; step-daughter, Carolyn Lott; one sister, Michelle (Raymos) Miller; three brothers, Reginald Harper, Charles Wicks, James (Charlie) Wicks; three grandchildren; three god children; two great grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was known as the best cook of the western hemisphere and loved to go to casinos, bus trips, and have family and friends around at all times. Visitation will be held at House of Day Mortuary on Friday, January 7, 2011, from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral services Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 11am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church preceded by 10am wake services.
