John L. Lane Sr., 53, passed away peacefully on Nov. 12th, 2010. John was a graduate of Libbey High School and was employed by Sterling Tool & Pipe as a steel worker.

He is survived by his children, Donzelle Brown, Kiffany Holston, Lisa Haynes, Kynard Holston, John L. Lane Jr., Athena Hamilton, Porcher Lane; step-children, Antuan Johnson, Raquel Johnson; brothers, Will & Jimmy Lane; sister, Rose Lane; special friend, Lorena Johnson; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services are Friday Nov. 19, 2010, 12:00noon at Living Word Ministries preceded by 11:00am wake service. Visitation Services are Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm at The House of Day Funeral Home. Please sign register book at
