HAMPTON Susie Scott Susie Scott Hampton, 81, passed away on July 2, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Drew, MS, on June 17, 1929 to the union of Andrew and Maude Whittaker Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lenora Davis, Georgia Mae Brownlee, Myrtis Smith and Etherean Cooley. Susie leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Bobby (wife Linda) of Chicago, Tommie (special friend Denise); sisters, Syless Griswold, Adlean Howard; brothers, Alex Scott and Claude Scott of Chicago; granddaughters, Alicia Murphy, Debbie Johnson Harris, Marletta Johnson, Oretha Johnson Hopings. The family will receive friends at the House of Day Funeral Home, 2550 Nebraksa Ave., Monday July 12, 2010, viewing at 1:00 p.m. with services at 2 p.m.
