William L. Golladay

<p>William Landerth Golladay, affectionately known as “Bill” and to some “Jacko”, was born February 29, 1945, in Bruce, Mississippi. He departed this earth, April 19, 2010, in his peaceful slumber at his home.</p><p><br></p><p> “Bill” was in the Armed Forces for 3 years.</p><p><br></p><p> “Bill” moved to Toledo in 1960, and began working as a Mechanic and later became a Semi Truck Driver and he drove for many years.</p><p><br></p><p> William enjoyed working on cars, hanging with family and friends. Family life for “Bill” was his life and was filled with fun and excitement.</p><p><br></p><p> William was preceded in death by his parents, Edell Edward and Cora Lee (Shaw) Golladay, brothers, Edward, Jr., Michael, L.C., John L. and James Golladay, sisters, Dorothy Mayes, Marie Canon, special niece, Martha Lavon Golladay and his loving companion, Agnes Cook.</p><p><br></p><p> He leaves to mourn his passing, siblings, Martha (Cedric) Doss, Ms. Reggie (Matthew) Thomas, Betty Joe (Robert) Love, and Alfred (Roberta) Golladay; an abundance of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren and loving friends.</p><p><br></p><p> Memorial service will be held on May 1, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the House of Day Funeral Service.</p>
