<p>Richard G. Autry, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Toledo Hospital. Richard was the oldest of ten children born to Claudell and Edna Autry in Toledo, Ohio. </p><p><br></p><p> He graduated from Macomber High School and went directly into the U.S. Army and later became active in the National Guard. He retired from Champion Spark Plug where he was a Shop Steward. He then attended U.T. for several years before working a short time at Jeep.</p><p><br></p><p> Richard was a person who loved to give and share with family and friends. His many talents included gardening, bowling, and challenging his brothers, friends, and the computer to endless chess matches. He shared his love of jazz wit others through his extensive music collection. </p><p><br></p><p> Richard was preceded in death by his father, Claudell Autry, nephew, Bradley K. Lambert II, three uncles and two aunts .</p><p><br></p><p> He is survived by his mother, Edna; wife, Lynda; sons, Rodney (Jerlean) Autry, Raymond (Jennifer) Autry of Nevada; daughter, Tammie Field of Sacramento; 4 loving granddaughters; sisters, Maxine, Lynn (Johnny) Taylor of Perrysburg, Ohio, Natalie, Peggy, Marilyn (Brad) Lambert, Phyllis, Marcia (Keith)Polin; brothers, Claude, Patrick (Sandra) Autry; aunts, Helen and Marian; uncle, Charles and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p> A sincere thanks to Jimmie Faye for her friendship to Richard. The family also thanks the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Toledo Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral servcies will be held at the House of Day on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 7:00pm with wake services preceded at 6:00pm. Officiating Rev. Earnest Morton.</p>
