Jazmund "Jaz" E. Lyons, 24, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 19, 1985.

Jaz graduated from Bowsher High School and was employed at Lake Erie Academy as a music instructor. Jaz was a well know musician in the Toledo area, he loved playing the drums. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Jaz was preceded in death by his mother, Stephania Lyons

Survivors are grandmothers, Loisteen Griffin and Roberta Howard; father, Joseph Howard, Jr.; sisters, Schnelle Lyons and Brandy Baxtor; brother, Michael Brownlie, Jr.; niece, Sahrye Lyons; nephew, Kenyon Garrett II and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5th from 5 - 7pm at the House of Day Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 6th at 10:00am preceded by a family hour at 9:00am at Mt Zion Baptist Church, 701 Vance St., Pastor Talmadge J. Thomas, Officiant.
