Florence Trocodeo, 96, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel.

Born in Weaverham, England to the late William and Nellie (Buckley) Edwards, Florence was one of eleven children.

Florence met the love of her life Dominick, a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army, while serving his country overseas. They were married in England on October 13, 1945 and had a wonderful life together for 65 years.

She became a U.S. Citizen on July 15, 1952 and was a longtime resident of South Plainfield. Florence had a wonderfully funny personality and enjoyed making people laugh. Florence loved dogs and had several throughout her years. She also enjoyed going to Atlantic City with the Senior Center.

Predeceased by her husband Dominick in 2010; surviving are her brother, Joseph Edwards and his wife Madge and nieces, Linda Trocodeo, Marianne Baumpane, Betty Miller, Barbara Haines, Joan Vernon, Patricia Jones, and a nephew, Eric Carver.

Funeral services are private.
