<p>Betty Cox, 60, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 17, in St. Lukes Hospital. She was born March 24, 1949 in Springfield, OH to the late Louis and Elizabeth Butler.</p><p><br></p><p> She was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Ragland.</p><p><br></p><p> She was an active member of Bethel Apostolic Temple under Elder Ernest Cross and Eldridge Levy. She later joined New Beginnings under Pastor Howard Blalark, which she loved. She was a dedicated Daycare provider for over 20 years. Surviving are her loving husband, Sterlin; children, Mark Jr. (Ivory) Smaw, Tiffiny McKinstry, Summer Smaw, and Brooklynn Cox; grandchildren, Jazzalyn Smaw, Dazhon Edwards, Scottie Rodgers, Jr. and Satoria Jones, sisters, Carol (Charles) Holt, Linda (Walter) Bankston, Lorna (Clifford) Holt, all of Dayton, OH, Carmen (Dist. Eld Gregory) Irvin, London, OH, and Frances Walker, of Upper Marlboro, MD, brothers, Louis (Artie)Butler and John Butler, of Dayton, OH Charles (Tressie) , of Florence, AL and James Butler, of College Park, MD, </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Visitation Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 5:00-7:00P.M. AT The House Of Day Chapel. Funeral services Friday Oct. 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Bibleway Temple (on Collingwood Blvd.) preceded by wake at 10:00 a.m. church doors open at 9:00 a.m.</p>
