THOMAS Mother Geneva Mother Geneva Thomas, age 91, joined the army of the Lord Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio among relatives and friends. She was born in Warren, AK to the late Ben and Josie Martin, October 16, 1917. She was preceded in death by both parents and sister, Bennie Lee Smith. Geneva was a LPN at various Toledo and Flint Michigan hospitals for 41 years, and was an active member of various Toledo Community Organizations until her illness. She was also a member and the Mother of End Time Christian Fellowship Church for over ten years, where she was the founder and president of the Red Hater's. She was also a former member of First Church of God. Geneva is survived by son, Frederick L. Hampton-Bey Sr.; one sister, Mabel Ware; special daughter, Ora Dell Newkirk; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. The viewing will be held at House of Day Funeral Home, located at 2550 Nebraska Wednesday, September 23 from 5-7 p.m. Held at End Time Christian Fellowship on Auburn will be the wake at 12 p.m., followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 24. Interment will pursue at Forest Cemetery. Geneva's family wishes to thank all caretakers from Point Place Rehabilitation Center to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for assisting in the care of our loved one. Special appreciation also goes out to Karen, Sharon, and Earl at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
