Johnnie Mae McMillian

Johnnie Mae (Coleman) McMillian was born October 19, 1925 in Ackerman, Mississippi. Johnnie met and married Sellie McMillian October 19, 1940 and to that union 15 children were born. She departed this life and left this old world and took her flight with God to her new home and glory on July 27, 2009 at UT Medical Center.

Surviving are sons; Roy, Bobby, Freddie, Kenny, Johnny (Mag) McMillian; daughters, Peggy Turner, Hellen (Floyd) Henderson, Mary (Greg) Fizer, Conette Dunn, Sally, Flora and Marie McMillian. Sisters; Rosie Marshall, Hilda Miller and Gladys Michels.

Services are 11:00am Saturday at Bible Way Temple, 2335 Collingwood, where wake services will be on Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the church. Pastor Bruce Mitchell officiating. Services handled by The House of Day Funeral Home. Www.houseofday.com
