<p>ARMSTRONG- MC CRAY Estella Louise Estella Louise Armstrong-McCray departed this life on July 20, 2009, at the age of 56 years old. Estella attended Scott High School and was employed at General Mills for 17 years. She then became a certified nursing assistant. She leaves behind mother, Betty Cooper; children, Earl (Monica), Toney, Sharmaine; her loving dog, Mercedes; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grand-child; sisters, Essie Armstrong, Barbara Summors, Anna Hopings, Debra, Cathy, and Annette Cooper; brother, Jerome (Linda) Cooper, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the House of Day Funeral Home, 2550 Nebraska Ave. Funeral services will be on Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Friendship Baptist Church, 5301 Nebraska Ave., officiated by Bishop Duane C. Tisdale. Interment will be at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.</p>Obituary
