Richard Calhoun Jr., 90 passed away Sunday June 28, 2009 at Arbor of Sylvania Rehabilitation Center. He worked for Balduf Bakery for 20 years as a truck driver. He coached Pee-wee football for the McKinley Hornets. He received Christ at an earyl age. Richard was a WW II Veteran. He received christ at an early age and was a member of Union Grove M.B. Church.

He leave to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 52 years; Lurine; daughter, Mercedes Rena Commons; sons, Richard, II and Rory Calhoun; grandchildren, Christipher, Sharise, Talesha and Sierra. Wake services will be held at 11:00am, and funeral at 12:00 noon July 3, 2009 at Union Grove M.B. Church, 3232 Nebraska Ave. Rev. Jesse L. Spears officiant.
