Muriel June Matthews (Gibson) come to this world on May 14, 1934 to The Union of William and Maude Gibson, of Toledo, Ohio. Returned Home to Heaven on June 27, 2009

During Muriel’s time here on earth she raised 6 children, and 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Muriel spent 18 Years at General Motors Powertrain; she began work in May of 1976 and retired in August 1994. Muriel was a member of the Retiree Chapter at Local 14. Muriel worked as an assembly worker throughout her tenure with General Motors, Powertrain..

Muriel’s Favorite Music Was R&B, and Old Spiritual songs. And Muriel loved to entertain her family, friends and neighbors at her home.

Preceded In Death William (Father), Maude (Mother), Edith Marie Brown (Sister), Russell, Eugene H, Burton Lawrence(Yvonne) and Jesse L. Matthews (Husband). He Is Survived by Children Jacqueline, Michael(Patricia), Jeffrey (Janis), Pamala, Jesse (Skip) (Heather), Annjanette.
