SOLENSKY, Teresa Rose, 97, Windber, passed away November 22, 2022. Born January 21, 1925 in Redstone, PA. Daughter of Joseph F. and Julia (Domonkos) Simon. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 58 years, Andrew G. Solensky; daughter, Mary Ellen Solensky, son, Andrew F. Solensky and sister, Julia (Simon) Collins. Survived by children, James M. Solensky (Maria Santucci); Joseph M. Solensky (Judy Herdman); Teresa M. Roth, and George E. Solensky (Suzie Gall); daughter-in-law, Marilyn (Kopco) Solensky; grandchildren, Andrew (Vika), Jennifer, and Craig (Lindsay) Solensky; Michael (Tara) Solensky, and Jamie (Andy) Kuskil; Ryan (Laura) Solensky; Michele (Brian) Kelley, Stephanie Roth and Todd, Christa (Jason) Papcunik; Jeff (Stephanie), and Tessa Solensky; and Katie Walls, Kelsey Walls and Andy; great grandchildren, Marisa, Andrew, Evan, Odessa, Lilian, Luca, Ivy, Sydney, Parker, Jacksyn and Audrey. Teresa was a retired employee of LaMonaca’s Bakery, Windber. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, putting puzzles together, going for rides, and swinging on her swing. 

Member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday. Reverend Lawrence Lacovic, Celebrant. Interment, Church Cemetery, 4th Street Windber. Friends received 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2022 at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held. The family would like to thank Teresa’s special care givers, Bev Blanchetti and Rosie Lamb and they especially would like to thank the Nurses and staff of Windber Hospice for their excellent care and support.
