<p>NELSON Mr. Ezell Mr. Ezell Nelson, 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at the Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. He was born in Newton, Mississippi, on July 30, 1929 to Elijah and Mary Nelson. He was preceded in death by both parents; son, Paul; brothers, Earnest and John and sister, Lucille Coogler. He is survived by his loving wife, Alma Jean; son, Bernard (Janelle); grandchilden, Khary of Cincinnati, Kandiss of Nashville, TN; brother, Carl (Ruth) of Forest, Mississippi; sisters, Annie May Mays and Overseer Birnett Garson of Toledo. Ezell was employed at he former Toledo Paper Stock, Elm Storage Company, Mostov Pallet Company and Van Order Pallet Company. He also ran his own pallet company for several years and performed work as an independent contractor. An illness in 2002 forced him to retire. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, at the House of Day Funeral Home, 2550 Nebraska Ave. (419-534-2550). Wake service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. at the House of Day. Pastor J. L. Jordan, Jr., Officiant.</p>
