Lucille A. Morse Obituary

LuicHle A. Morse was born August 26, 1919 in Tamroy, West Virgjnia. She moved from West Virginia to Toledo in 1959. She joned All Saints Episcopal Church shortly after arriving inToledo. She was employed with Toledo Public School system from 1959 I until her retirement in 1989. She taught at Warren School, the Jefferson Center and Fulton School. She enjoyed playing golf and tennis. She was a member of the Midwestern Golf Cluband the T-Town Swingers. She was a charter member of Delta Beta and Phi Beta Kappa Sororities. Lucille honorably served her country in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945. She was a 1959 graduate of West Virginia State College.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Morse. She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Helen Smith of Maryland; Ronnie (Char1otte) Poindexter."Little Grandma" had 3 grandchildren, Tony(Capri) Poindexter, Jason (April) Poindexter, Trisha (Aaron) Hendricks; 7 great-grandchildren, Ronisha Poindexter, Tenae' Poindexter, Rona' Poindexter, Kenneth Tisdel, Jr; Teylar Poindexter, Roniya Poindexter, Triniti Hendricks; 4 step-great grandchildren, Bradley Hendricks Jr., Bobby Hendricks, Diane Hendricks, Brandon Hendricks, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


A special thank you to the nursing staff at St. Vincent's and the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.


Services will be at All Saints Episcopal Church, Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10 a.m.. The Rev. Beverly A. Tasy will officiate. Wake services will be Friday, March 20, 2009 at House of Day 6-8 p.m.
