Marie Inzano Speak peacefully passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family at Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, N.J. Prior to her residency at Seabrook beginning in 2015, Marie was a lifelong resident of New Brunswick, N.J.

The oldest of eight children born to Anthony and Emma (Szilvasy) Inzano, Marie always treasured her familial relationships, not only with her immediate family, but also with her large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins most of whom lived in close proximity as she grew up. Her Italian and Hungarian heritages contributed to the many cultural and eclectic interests she maintained throughout her life.

Marie’s creative abilities included decorating, gardening, and crafting. Her exquisite pysanky eggs remain a testament to her creativity. She was also well known for her keen fashion sense and style.

For nearly 20 years, Marie served as Director of the Senior Resource Center for the city of New Brunswick. Her vision, and commitment led to the expansion not only of the physical facility, but also to state recognized programs which met the social, cultural and wellness needs of the New Brunswick senior community.

In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her beloved sisters, Kathleen Inzano and Frances De Franzo.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her siblings and their spouses Frank Inzano (Joanne) of Kendall Park, Al Inzano (Ann Marie) of Martinsville, Anthony Inzano of Dunellen, Emma Stafford (Wally) of Manasquan and Joseph Inzano (Kathi) of Vero Beach, Fl. and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, N.J., on Saturday, November 26, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Matthias Church in Somerset, N.J., at 11 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, N. J.
